Elm and I are going to write our bachelor thesis starting circa in Q4 this year. The topic is building an autonomous UAV (unmanned air vehicle) based on one of these microcopters. The project consists of 4 sub-projects, each representing a bachelor thesis. My part will be writing the so called Mission Control, a piece of software running on a standard PC to control the drone.

Today we started assembling the hardware. This was the first time, I had a soldering iron in my hands, but I’m proud of my work.
